Embratel launches SME contact centre solution
Embratel has launched Easy Service – a solution that customises a cloud call centre for small- and medium-sized enterprises ( SMEs ) according to business needs .
The concept is based on Amazon Connect , an omnichannel contact centre service from Amazon Web Services from Embratel and offers integrated voice service , as well as automated and dynamic tools for SMEs to provide elevated assistance experiences .
“ The new solution is another initiative to bring innovation to the market ,” said Mário Rachid , Executive Director of Digital Solutions , Embratel . “ Now , smaller businesses will also be able to improve interactions with their customers – with more professional contacts .”
SMEs make a significant contribution to Brazil ’ s economic growth and play an important role in job creation and innovation . However , they struggled to invest in contact centre solutions , even in the face of customers ’ need for a more professional service .
Tech group expands to Birmingham with contract win supporting 10,000 + students into cyber careers
A technology skills and innovation provider is expanding to Birmingham in the UK following a new contract win to deliver CyberFirst on behalf of the National Cyber Security Centre ( NCSC ), a part of GCHQ , in the West Midlands for the first time . This will result in significant investment into the technology careers of thousands of local students .
IN4 Group , headquartered in MediaCity , Salford , is expanding its team and will be establishing offices at STEAMhouse in Millennium Point , Birmingham , where it looks to build further corporate , academic and local government partnerships in the West Midlands and across the UK .
IN4 already successfully delivers the CyberFirst contract in the North West and is now expanding to the West Midlands to deliver CyberFirst Schools & Colleges . The initiative was set up by the NCSC to encourage a more diverse range of young people to pursue careers in the sector , championing cyber education in the region .

14Peaks closes inaugural US $ 30 million fund to power software start-ups in FinTech
Venture capital firm , 14Peaks Capital , has successfully closed its first fund at US $ 30 million in capital commitments from an impressive consortium of limited partners , consisting of influential high net worth individuals and family offices spanning Europe and the United States .
Established in 2022 by Edoardo Ermotti , the fund ’ s solo general partner , 14Peaks invests at the earliest stages ( from pre-seed to series A ) in B2B SaaS companies , with a specific interest in FinTech and the future of work .
The team is already investing out of its first fund and has 11 companies in its portfolio to date . These include US-based HR / payment platform , Rain ( which last year raised US $ 66 million in a Series A round ), finance and accounting platform , FlowFi ( which recently announced its US $ 9 million seed round ) and Switzerlandbased data collaboration company , Tune Insight , among others .
14Peaks ’ focus across FinTech and the future of work is expansive , ranging from data collaboration and workflow automation to payment software and fraud detection .
