UK government honours exceptional exporters
A family-owned craft drinks B-Corp , an electric vehicle company and a rapid diagnostic tests specialist are among the 2024 winners of the Department for Business and Trade ’ s ( DBT ) Made in the UK , Sold to the World Awards .
Now in their second year , the awards celebrate the international sales success of small-medium businesses across the UK .
This year ’ s winners include : Agri , Food and Drink – Warner ’ s Distillery ; Creative Industries – Media Bodies ; Education & EdTech – SimVenture ; Financial Services and FinTech – Mosaic Smart Data ; Retail & Consumer Goods – PG Paper Company Ltd ; Consultancy & Professional Services – Intralink Ltd ; Healthcare – CIGA Healthcare ; Infrastructure & Engineering –
Autoflame Engineering ; Low Carbon Energy – Munro Vehicles and Manufacturing , Advanced Manufacturing and Construction – IceMos Technology .
The awards come after new figures from the UN ’ s body that leads on global trade show the UK was the fourth largest exporter of goods and services globally in 2022 , moving up from seventh in the rankings in 2021 .

Macquarie Cloud Services , part of Macquarie Technology Group , now ranks number one in the 30 – 99 employee category in the annual Best Workplaces in Technology in Australia list .
The list is developed by global workplace culture consultancy , Great Place to Work , and shortlists companies using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback .
Macquarie Cloud Services stood out for its job satisfaction across its team , with 99 % recommending it as a place to work compared to the average of 56 % of employees at other Australian companies . It was also recognised for its health and wellbeing programmes , customer service recognition and rewards and career development opportunities .

Montana takes the bronze medal at 98.4 %, just short of doubling its business optimism since pre-COVID , rising from 1,094 to 2,170 . Just 0.5 percentage points behind is New Mexico , with an increase of 97.9 %. |
