Xero adds Expenses functionality to Xero Me app
Xero has announced a reimagined version of Xero Me , its employee selfservice app which now comes with integrated Expenses technology .
By integrating the award-winning Xero Expenses technology right into Xero Me , employees of small businesses using Xero Payroll in Australia , New Zealand and the UK will now benefit from being able to submit expense claims in the same place they access payslips , submit timesheets and manage leave requests .
The Xero Me app is evolving to become Xero ’ s central place for employees to manage critical people processes themselves with more functionality being built into the experience now and into the future .
A single Xero Me app removes the need for employees to switch between multiple apps or navigate disparate systems and workflows for critical employee processes , creating a more seamless employee experience . Meanwhile , employers can ensure data is easily entered and stored in a single place .
80 % of SMBs feel more secure despite influx of cyberattacks
Untangle , a leader in comprehensive network security for small-to-medium businesses ( SMBs ) and distributed enterprises , has released the results of its fourth annual SMB IT Security Report .
The report found that , despite the flurry of cyberattacks , SMBs are expanding and embracing new work environments and investing in and investigating new technologies to secure their business .
The latest Untangle SMB IT Security Report surveyed more than 740 SMBs – the company ’ s largest pool of respondents to date – to learn more about how they ' ve adapted to a changing work environment , how they ' ve addressed an influx of cyberattacks and defined their approach to IT security .
The survey showed that even with limited budget and resources , SMBs have implemented foundational strategies to address network security issues and lay the groundwork for future investments : 80 % of respondents shared that they are more secure now than last year .
Veem partners with Visa to enhance domestic and cross-border movement

Veem clients will have the ability to immediately generate and issue virtual Visa payment cards that can be used for business payments to third parties like suppliers , or for general business expenses . The card programme , combined with Veem ' s spend management tools , will provide reconciliation and financial benefits to Veem clients , helping digitise and streamline their manual processes . �
