Lena Zak, Amazon Business Australia Country Manager, said:“ Amazon Australia is excited to support Australian businesses and organisations of all sizes with simplifying a critical aspect of their operations, so they can focus on what’ s most important to them: serving their own customers better, while growing their organisations.”
Key features include Business Prime, which combines Prime shipping with business tools such as shared accounts and buying policies; single-unit and bulk quantity discounts of up to 10 % on hundreds of thousands of products and up to 20 % with bulk purchases; spending limits to maintain cost control and approval workflows for purchase compliance.
Sage acquires Fyle to automate expense management for SMEs with AI
Sage has announced the acquisition of Fyle – an AI-powered expense management platform which transforms how SMEs track and manage expenses.
This acquisition is pitched as strengthening Sage’ s ecosystem, empowering SMEs with AI-powered tools that simplify and automate financial workflows, freeing up time for business owners and financial leaders to focus on high performance and growth.
Founded in 2016, Fyle, based in Newark, Delaware, was born out of the founders’ personal frustrations with expenses – managing clunky workflows, manually aligning receipts to charges and waiting long periods while employers processed reimbursements. Fyle pitches itself as addressing these challenges by creating a smarter, simpler system. With Fyle, accounting and finance teams can get real-time notifications on their transaction data and given it is card-agnostic, businesses can retain their existing credit card programs while automating their expenses.
Fyle also provides an intuitive user experience for end-users, allowing them to submit and reconcile expenses with a simple text. Today, the company has over 150 employees and supports over 1,600 direct customers in the US as well as thousands of additional users under a white-label agreement.
“ In 2025, financial leaders are expected to play much more strategic roles than ever before and are looking for every way to get a high-performance edge. We know expense management is a key workflow for finance. Fyle streamlines and automates the entire process, further simplifying SME finances with AI. I look forward to working as one team to create real and immediate impact for our customers,” said Dan Miller, EVP Financials and ERP, Sage.
