Intelligent SME. tech. You may notice a slightly different look to the magazine this month. As part of the Lynchpin Media brand, the magazine has undergone a redesign. It still focuses on how technology is transforming SMEs across the globe with news, case studies and thought leadership. But there are also some new additions, including an expert column from a member of our strategic content team and an online round-up.
On this month’ s front cover, we feature Jordan Lance, Director of IT at Richter, a well-established SME specialising in consulting for civil, structural and geotechnical engineering in the UK. Since partnering with Red Helix and implementing its cybersecurity services, Richter has strengthened its security posture, enabling more strategic IT management. Red Helix has transformed threat insight and streamlined compliance while providing 24 / 7 reassurance to Richter and its supply chain partners, opening up new major business opportunities. Our Expert Column this month comes from our Chief Content Officer, Jess Abell, who talks about AI Appreciation Day and AI’ s next frontier. She discusses the aspects of AI which are holding some companies back and also about the many positives. She also focuses on Lynchpin Media’ s recent roundtable discussion at the Data Centre Exchange event held at the Pan Pacific in London. The conversation, hosted by Alix Pressley, Director of Strategic Content, focused on the critical skills shortage facing the sector. Turn to page 18.
Central bank digital currencies could finally solve the financial friction that hold back emerging market SMEs. Mustafa Syed,
Senior Manager at PwC, explores how financial systems haven’ t kept pace with the digital economy and how central bank digital currencies could offer SMEs opportunities which they didn’ t have before. Turn to page 35.
We also have an Intelligent Technology section dedicated to all the latest technology developments affecting SMEs and a page called Project Round-Up which features news from across our regions.
