Bootcamp to bolster cyberdefences of Indian businesses
IITJ TISC and WhizHack Technologies Private Limited have announced an Advanced Certification Bootcamp in Cyber Defense through a partnership with Cybint .
The 480-hour , six-month intensive course will have self-paced modules , complemented by live sessions and mentoring by IIT Jodhpur faculty , industry experts and access to advanced cloud-based labs on latest cyber tools and techniques .
According to a joint study conducted by PwC India and the Data Security Council of India ( DSCI ) increased digitisation has resulted in the increase in cyberattack incidents in India by 292 %.
Commenting on the programme , Prof Santanu Chaudhury , Director IIT Jodhpur , said IIT Jodhpur TISC along with WhizHack intends to create a self-reliant India by training individuals to become cyber professionals with the latest skillsets and that can safeguard the interests of India ’ s enterprises .
