Can you provide some insight into how the solution has enabled your organisation to scale , particularly during the last year , and how it will enable future growth ?
Being a healthcare business , COVID-19 increased demand for our products and services . That meant we needed traceability and accurate visibility across our inventory to make sure we could quickly and efficiently deliver what customers were asking of us . Had we not already had NetSuite in place , it would not have been possible . It was a big enabler for us . Different departments were able to rally around the data that the system gives us to make quick , insight-led decisions about the direction we should take as a business .

How has the software helped meet your mission to quickly and reliably deliver cutting-edge medical supplies throughout the Middle East ?
Zahrawi Group has obligations to the healthcare and life science communities and ultimately using NetSuite has helped us grow and deliver excellent customer service . NetSuite has been with us as we embarked on ‘ super growth ’ cycles to double the revenue of the business between 2014 and 2016 , and again between 2016 and 2020 .
We can now deal immediately with hundreds of healthcare manufacturers and medical products that require careful tracking and classifications to adhere to stringent regulatory requirements . Inventory management tools also ensure that deliveries can be made more promptly . In this sector , speed and reliability are of the essence and the data we get from NetSuite helps us make fast decisions to deliver even better products and services .
In our line of businesses , sometimes products get recalled – imagine trying to do a product recall on a certain batch number and reconciling it with thousands of customer records using Excel . It would be impossible . Now we can run a single report using NetSuite and identify certain units . It ’ s a very powerful solution .
We made a contingency plan several weeks before lockdown and organised connectivity . But thanks to NetSuite , our processes did not get affected . People could work wherever they were . Our processes in terms of sales transactions , inventory tracking and financial reporting were untouched because we had the structure in place .
