Proxtera and Tazapay partner to propel crossborder trade for SMEs
Proxtera , a network of business-tobusiness ( B2B ) marketplaces that facilitates cross-border trade for smallmedium enterprises ( SME ), and Tazapay , a digital escrow service for cross-border trade , have announced their partnership to launch Proxtera Protect , Powered by Tazapay to provide international buyers and sellers with a secure and protected payment service to streamline global trade .
In partnership with Proxtera , Tazapay will provide a digital escrow service for both buyers and sellers connected via participating platforms on the Proxtera network .
Many businesses already use Proxtera to identify new trade partners and connect to discuss , negotiate and finalise trade terms . Through Proxtera Protect , Powered by Tazapay , SMEs will be able to complete transactions through the secure escrow payments service , providing both buyers and sellers with a critical layer of protection and confidence when doing business with a new partner .

Smart IMS ( SIMS ) Inc has expanded its Microsoft Dynamics practice with customised cloud-based offerings for SMEs in North America and APAC regions .
Its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ( F & O ), CRM and Business Central ( BC ) services are tailored to meet the specific needs of the SME industry segments .
Customers in these segments often have legacy ERP systems that cannot handle their growing needs .

Macquarie Telecom launches SD-LAN service to bring greater intelligence to Wi-Fi
Macquarie Telecom , part of Macquarie Telecom Group , has launched a new SD- LAN service , stimulated by increased demand from its customers for greater performance , automation and intelligence in Wi-Fi networks , and cloud connectivity .
SD-LAN – software-defined local area networking – is an application-driven architecture that decouples hardware and software in Wi-Fi networks , making them easier to operate , integrate with other network components and scale . It builds on the principles of softwaredefined networking ( SDN ) and software-defined wide area networking ( SD-WAN ).
The new service comes on the back of increased demand from Macquarie ’ s customers for enhanced Wi-Fi automation and intelligence , driven largely by increased network activity . Macquarie is investing AU $ 3.9m in personnel , operations and research and development ( R & D ) over the next five years to build out the service .
The Australian telco successfully trialled the SD-LAN service with a leading Australian tyre and auto repairs company and an ASX-listed dental company .
